GreeneTec was founded on the principle of expanding the production of biogas. Biogas is the product of the anaerobic digestion of bio-feedstock such as food and agricultural waste. Biogas contains a far lower carbon intensity than fossil fuels. Pumping biogas into renewable natural gas (RNG) pipelines helps to significantly reduce carbon emissions when the RNG is burned.
